Spring Freshness .... Designer Board Kit

Spring is officially underway! To close out the classroom this week we had to mount new bulletin boards. Now the boards at our school must have a book to accompany them. Sooooo, I chose the book 'Lemons and Lemonade A book about Supply and Demand as we are learning economics upon our return.

Snake Skin Borders (((( LIMITED TIME FREEBIE ))))

Next week begins the study of Reptiles and Amphibians. My class really enjoyed learning about dinosaurs this week and we are looking to extend the learning. What really captivated them was the room arrangements. Everything was dinosaurs! The sounds of the jungle played in the background as a soothing yet invigorating soundtrack into the study. I wanted to recreate that feeling again. This is just one of the many cool classroom decorations coming soon.... and it's FREE!

Dr. Seuss Vocabulary Words Chart

Next week begins the celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday. When preparing the children for the upcoming lesson, I asked them about some characters from the stories. To my surprise most of my class had no knowledge of who Dr. Seuss was or who his characters are. This vocabulary word chart was created to not only expose them to the characters but to assist in writing endeavors.
